Promotional deck of cards from the launch of the ACES train, which runs from NYC to Atlantic City. It launched in early 2009 as a year round transit option targeting New Yorkers who didn’t have cars and didn’t want to take a bus to Atlantic City. I was on one of the first round trip rides, which is where I got this deck of cards. Very cheeky.
ACES wasn’t as popular as organizers hoped. Prices were soon slashed, and now it only runs in the summer. I found this while cleaning my office.
